The MSM is all over this connection, as they should be, it's their job. Unfortunately, the hypocrisy is overwhelming, as they have conveniently overlooked Hillary Clinton's remarks about the founder of Planned Parenthood's who had strong links to eugenics, besides the fact that Margaret Sanger was a bold faced racist.
In case you've never heard, here are some remarks from Margaret Sanger:
"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population." -Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts.
There is more where that came from too...
"Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race." Margaret Sanger. Woman, Morality, and Birth Control. New York: New York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12."Eugenics is … the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems. Margaret Sanger. "The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda." Birth Control Review, October 1921, page 5."The undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind." Margaret Sanger, quoted in Charles Valenza. "Was Margaret Sanger a Racist?" Family Planning Perspectives, January-February 1985, page 44
For more of her disgusting drivel, one only needs to google "margaret sanger" and "racist". A sad but enlightening read is her book "The Pivot of Civilization", it is a free e-book online. It is only enlightening because of her haughty and mean spirited views on life and race, she was a rare and hateful woman.
I find it ironic though, that she has become an icon of feminism and female heroism. I wonder why Rachel Maddow didn't diss Hillary Clinton for her Eugenics ties when she stated:
I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision… when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her. - Hillary Clinton, 3/27/2009 when accepting the Margaret Sanger Award from Planned Parenthood.Hypocrisy abounds on the right and the left. The right allows anti semites to introduce important immigration laws and the left makes racists their heroes. Two sides of the same coin, the right and the left. I wish there was another party, one that wasn't racist or politically correct, one that was fiscally responsible, and stood for personal responsibility and accountability. I can dream, can't I?
