I am going to create a new blog called "Parenting & Politics", and I will repost the blogs over here as I write them. Different world views lead to different parenting styles, and different parenting styles lead to different political ideologies. You can raise a child as a Republican or Democrat, but if your parenting style is contrary to your political ideology, there is a good chance that they will switch their party soon after they leave your household. It is all about the hidden messages that your parenting tactics send to them, not the verbal ones.
