Parenting & Politics was born from my passion for parenting my children. I have read the book “Parenting with Love & Logic”, taken the Love & Logic classes five times, and watched their PBS specials several times as well. I also like their mini books, which are short and powerful.
As a result of spending so much time studying what it takes to be a good parent, and applying that knowledge with my own kiddos, I started to see how governments takes on the parent role with it’s citizens (whether we like it or not). Governments can enable their citizens to excel, to flounder, or to rebel, just like we do with our children. I also began to see how we form our children’s political views, not by what we say, but by how we parent.
This blog is the result of my observations of both Parenting & Politics.
