Hale uses the analogy of a computer running multiple windows in his book. We are like a computer, and each emotion that we repress or fail to acknowledge, stays in our active memory instead of being stored on the hard drive. Like a computer that has too many open windows open, over time, our bodies will begin to slow down and get sluggish. We'll be less efficient at getting things done, our relationships will continually suffer, and our body will take on diseases related to the various emotions that we are holding on to. It's very messy, unless you start to close a lot of the windows, which few of us do. Anyway, EFT, PSTEC, and the Sedona Method are great ways to do emotional releasing. At the very least, his book gives great insights into emotions and emotional resistance. Enjoy!
